My First Misfits Market Box Arrived

I want to thank @NJChicaa for writing about her box. It made me curious about what a Misfit Market Box was. Well my first one arrived just a few minutes ago. It came with cold packs. I ordered the small box so it has 10-12 pds or organic fruits and vegetables.
I got romaine lettuce, onion, potatoes, kale, broccoli, turnip, apples, beans, green peppers, cucumber and mangos. A very nice box indeed and I am looking forward to the delicious things I am going to make with these items.
I can't add a photo which is too bad. However I went to my phone and I could add it from there, now that is strange.

Thank you, yes it was $23.95 which includes the shipping. It is never inexpensive to buy good food so I think there is plenty of value.

Yes but they are not perfect, they are less than perfect but still good enough to enjoy.

@BelleStarr ......I am glad farmers are utilizing the 'misfits' too. I remember when I was a kid we used to drive the truck down the rows after the best of the potatoes had been picked up. We took home the misfits they didn't want.

That sounds a little nicer than Misfits but I gather the idea is similar. I think I am going to be very pleased with this.

I do not think we have anything like that around here, but we do take advantage of "manager specials" at one of our stores and get lots of misfits for great prices. It helps keep variety in our veggies.

yes, i remember her post and her picture and just like yours, they all look perfectly fine to me. i went to their website out of curiosity and liked reading their About Us page.
