A Storm is on it's Way

The skies are getting darker, the clouds are tuning grey. The sky is looking angry and the blue skies have gone away. The plants will be so happy when the rain begins to fall. I just hear a clap of thunder, I don't like that sound at all. The rain is starting to sprinkle down on shrubs, flowers and trees. As longer as lightening doesn't come along, it's AOK with me. I'll sit inside and watch the raindrops falling down. And be glad we won't have to water since the rain has come around. I love rain I just am not a fan of thunder and lightening. How do you feel about it?

I do enjoy the rain and a good thunderstorm. I've always enjoyed them. Even as a kid.

That is best thing about rain. It saves us from watering our garden.

I too love rain but not like thunder and lightening. I find them scary and disturbing.

I love it. For some reason I seem to be more creative when it is raining as long as the thunder and lightening stays away.

Sometimes the angry skies can look so cool though, but storms can be scary! Hopefully you don't see any lightning! I agree that rain is fine....but no thunder and lightning!

I am a bit sick of it in Florida as usually it indicates bad news like maybe a hurricane. thunder and lightning accompanies it 4 out of 5 times too

I am in Florida too. The central part of Florida. The rain is nice the noise and light that comes with it is not so nice.

It sounds that way. One thing for sure, I don't use the computer when lightening is lighting up the sky.

@HazySue 'tis very rare we've jest a rain. most 'lways comes with the whole she-bang. (knockin' wood) 'tis been some years since we've a bad hail storm. came from 3 directions 't once, lasted a good hour - hailstones from golf ball to grapefruit sized. 'twas devastatin'.

I don't either. My hubby loves it when it rains even if it makes a lot of noise and lights up the sky. It means he doesn't have to water the plants.

Stay safe. We have had many severe thunderstorms lately. I do not like lightning. We had limbs down a few days ago due to the straight line winds.
