I have not even had notifications today.How will I buy gifts in Aruba?

I have not been here much today and have not posted much. Just now I decided to check on my notifications, but there weren´t so many either. I seems that ,except for some very special people, if you leave the site for a day you get deleted from the thoughts of many

. What is your opinion about this, friends? Do you have the same experience? After mylotting for some time now, I managed to get a little less than 20 cents. I will not be able to buy a souvenir in Aruba with that money. The less expensive gifts are over $3.

My notifications drop off to glory if I'm away for a while but I guess it's to be expected. If I'm away for too long, I get nothing somedays and then I might get 0.01c. Luckily we myLot for other reasons too.

I know. But I think that it is too much to go down to 10 cents if I go out for lunch

I only mylot for conversations with friends. The rest is just a game.

Well, I do not write a lot, but I visit the posts of the others all the time. Even if I am not here one day I still earn and receive many notifications.

As @JohnRoberts wrote, staying active with posts and responses is the way to generate notifications. I have noted what many others, such as @JudyEv, have noticed. When your away from myLot, notifications dry right up.

I found that true also. I was away for 3 weeks this summer and I did write a little from my cell phone but not as much as I usually do. When I got home I saw how little activity I had. Once back and I got into things it started to pick up again the way it was before I left. Have a great trip. Aruba is beautiful and I know you will enjoy it. I was there a few times.

I have noticed that even when I am busy with other things people have been sending me notification and I have to respond to them. Today I even had some comments on posts I had forgotten about. I don't think anyone forgets about anyone it just depends from day to day how many are online and what is happening. I hope you can make some money for your trip. When are you going to Aruba?

I am not popular here nor a favourite of anyone and yet I earn well. I post I get a few responses and I comment on them. I pick discussions I like and respond - life goes on. You are right about users forgetting you if you are not active proving that there is no emotional attachment here.

@marguicha I learned many years ago, not to buy souvenirs for everyone you know. The people usually put them aside and forget about them. Remember they mean something to you but not everyone appreciates them as they were not there, you were.

I have not been much around here in last two days maybe for just 10 minutes. And I have made only 20 cents in these two days. That's bound to happen. If we are not here, people find other friends to interact and go on.
