There are many members on this site I consider a friend. I think you know who you are. You are always kind, supportive and often make my day whether you realize it or not.
Yesterday there was a surprise postcard in my mailbox. From across the pond. Yep, I got mail in the US from England. Care to guess who it was from? I knew right away as I was expecting this gift.
Thank you so much @Gillygirl for being you every day. You are always a joy to visit. And for you to take the time to write a handwritten note on this lovely postcard from your world and mail it to me, says a lot about you.
I appreciate you and the light that shines from your words. Enjoy your vacation and know that you have made my day and once again have made me smile.

There are many who do that here and for that I suppose one has to provide the postal address. I would be wary of that

@CarolDM I was in another forum and it took us three long years to trust each other. She visited me all the way from the UK and spent a couple of days with us, with her lady friend.

That is a wonderful surprise especially coming from across the pond. Real mail is hard to come by these days.

Places like this are interesting in that we never really know who each other is, rarely ever meet in person, and yet, we still make special and worthwhile connections. There are some here I consider friends as well although I have never met them. @andriaperry would be one that readily comes to mind. Actually met her over at Bubblews. There are others. But you know how that goes, you start mentioning names and you are sure to leave someone out. Not sure why I picked on Andria specifically here either. Maybe I have a secret crush or something. It's that hippy picture of her probably.
