Heat Advisory

Over the last week, we have been under a heat advisory. It's supposed to rain this afternoon and our temps will fall a little. It's been so hot that you can barely breathe. My brother has asthma and a heart condition and the weather is really taking its toll on him. What's your weather like? Is anyone else under a heat advisory?

I can only imagine how difficult it must be for your brother and people with those types of illnesses. Doodles has a heart condition, so when he insists on going out, I let him sleep in the shade. We have an excessive heat warning, and should get rain on Tuesday with cooler temps. It's best to stay indoors and keep cool. I only went for a quick walk this morning and was fine.

I think everyone is pretty much getting all this heat and humidity. As much as I hate the cold, I am ready for Fall.

This morning in was 63 degrees, it felt cold, I loved it. It went up to mid-80s but without humidity it was lovely.

@simone10 We just had 3 90 plus degree days but today was supposed to be 88 degrees. It will go down to 61 overnight.

Today is the very first day that we haven't been under a heat advisory in several days. Its very humid out, but cloudy, so not as extremely hot. We still need the a/c today.

We've had a few days of oppressive heat here too. My daughter has asthma and it's been hard for her to breathe too.I've just been hibernating in the a/c and praying the power doesn't go out

In South India it's really hot.. particularly in Chennai...along with the heat there is also water scarcity...which makes the heat even worse..
