I am really out of sorts today. I am ready for my brother and his girlfriend to go to jail so that my mother (and myself) can live in peace. With the paranoia she had Friday, I believe she has been threatened. I called one of her doctors and I think they also feel this way. I asked if there was any way to get the office of Elderly Abuse to accelerate the case. She said no, but it does sound like we need to get Elder Protection involved. We will be going in to talk about all of this on Monday so keep those prayers flowing. My mother will not have to press any charges since we have felony charges involved. The state will step in and handle it. I pray that this will all go smoothly and justice will be served. I'm about to go talk with her about the girlfriend moving into the house. My mom can't stand her. And yes, according to my mother's neighbors who have been keeping in touch with me, she moved in. Photo Credit: Pixaby, public domain

That's not good. Wouldn't that be trespassing? Especially if he's not with her? I hope they hurry with that protection order.

He has permission to live there with mom, but the girlfriend does not. With his temper I'm not going to try to get in. I'll wait and let him keep passing bad checks that are also forged. Felony. We just have to be patient.

@just4him I have been praying for guidance and patience because I know I'm lacking in patience for sure. I can only follow my instincts and the advice I'm getting from others. It's really hard.

a most complex 'n confusin' situation. since yer momma signed that p.o.a. to the girlfriend, it's gonna be that much more diff'cult fer charges to be successful, no?

Shouldn't be, but mom has to press the charges. I'm looking into doing all of that on her behalf. It will involve her competence and at that time which may be hard to measure.

Lots of emotions all over the place. I just want to get my mother back in her home. That is what she has been waiting for now for 3 years. My brother has failed her over and over.

Daughters usually have this concern and love for mothers. Sons, not all, but a lot of them, dont care for the welfare of their aging mothers.

It's not like that here. Most children love and respect their parents. My brother wasn't brought up like that but when you start sleeping with the devil's relatives, it happens.

Yep, the first night my brother stayed alone and then she came on the scene the next day and stayed all night. I have good spy neighbors. I talked to my mother about it and her jaw dropped.
