The first thing you're going to notice is that two numbers are high. That's because I went to Subway. My saving grace is I didn't have any cheese, so I subtracted the cheese from the sandwich totals. On the other hand, I had a lot of protein yesterday. I will be doing my own cooking from now on. I don't add sodium to anything. I looked at the label on the small container of salt I have and there is 281 mg of sodium per 1/4 teaspoon of salt. That's way too much sodium for me. The sodium number is still within the accepted parameters, but not if you're watching your sodium intake. Carbs are another high number and that's the bread that I don't normally eat added into the equation. So, yes, I confess, yesterday was a cheat day. On the bright side, I burned a lot of calories at the Y yesterday and today. I'm feeling it in my legs and knees. I've already taken Ibuprofen this morning after my early morning nap. I came home exhausted from the Y this morning and headed almost immediately to bed. So, here are the numbers and I hope to do better today. Calories: 1427 Sugar: 47.22 Carbs: 203.12 Protein: 88.5 Sodium: 1442 Fat: 22.9 Calories Burned: 886 Total Calories: 541 There you have the results of an indulgent day. Now, it's time to interact with you and I hope to get another day's worth of notifications completed and more if possible. I'm probably sitting close to 300 again today. If I'm not, that would be nice and give me the chance to get caught up. How is your Tuesday going? Thanks for reading. Image courtesy of Pixabay.

You have to have a cheat day every once in awhile. My husband is having one today.

You burned off enough to keep it at a modest level.

Yes, I did. I burned off almost as much today. Even though the bike was 20 minutes, the calories weren't the same as the first two days. Oh well. I still burned a lot of calories.

cheat days are okay as long as they don't happen all the time. That is still a lot of carbs for just Subway.

There's a lot of carbs in turkey bacon. I had that with my eggs and liver.

@NJChicaa 180 per slice. I had two slices. No, I'm sorry. I was looking at the sodium line. It's only 1 carb for turkey bacon. The carbs came from my usual bananas and potatoes besides the Subway bread and blueberries which are also high in carbs.

@just4him I wouldn't think that there would be carbs in turkey bacon. I've never really thought about it before. Maybe I'll just go back to regular bacon.

You did tremendous, your exercise is back on track again. Actually, eating bread isn't a bad thing, carbs can lessen your hunger, when eaten in small quantities. I eat bread, at least once each day, to keep my appetite from going haywire. Sweets? I don't crave them as before. Your numbers look good, in my opinion!

Thank you. This morning's exercise exhausted me. My legs are still sore. It's a good sore though. It means I'm really working those thighs and knees and hopefully, it will show soon with some weight loss off them too. My sweet yesterday was completely healthy. No sugar in that chocolate mug cake. You would be able to have it with your diabetes.

@kobesbuddy Yes, the one I found is so simple, takes five minutes to stir up and one minute in the microwave. No flour, four? ingredients. Not many anyway. And delicious.

You burned a lot of calories which can help.....and staying active should help! The numbers don't seem too bad, even with the sandwich, and it's nice to enjoy something you miss every once in a while!

Thank you. I guarantee it won't happen again. I'm not used to fast food and felt too weird to have a sandwich.

Subway just isn't all that interesting to me, anymore..if I am gonna eat all that bread, I will opt for a better sub. You still had a pretty good day!

I can understand that. It will most likely be the last time I go there simply because I'm not used to eating bread anymore. Thank you.

I also cheated a bit yesterday because I made guacamole and I was in the mood to make a Margarita. I had nothing else, only a small tortilla with the guacamole.

@just4him No, the final count was under 900 calories for the day, so it was good for me.

Your weight has to go down if you're burning more than you're eating.

@just4him Yes, indeed. I was supposed to stay for 2 days at my niece house after our travel but I couldn“t wait to go home to relax my feet.
