Fresh Tomatoes... Again

My sweet neighbor has brought more tomatoes to my front door. He is such a sweetie, I cannot tell him no more, I need a break. So I took them, all eight of them. Snapped a photo of the fresh tomatoes.
More tomato sandwiches. They are delicious, so I am not complaining. And when they are gone, they will be gone until next year. So I have found recipes using the tomatoes, and put a few bags in the freezer for stews this winter.
For now, I will have a fresh tomato sandwich for dinner. It is very hot and a sandwich is just enough ti fill me up for now.
Any dinner plans for you? Hope your day has been good. July is over after today. Still wondering where it went so fast.

I'm so envious of all those fresh tomatoes you have. The ones I get in the store certainly can't compare to a fresh grown one. They look delicious

I bought some lovely tomatoes from the fresh farm store just a very short walk away from here.
Dinner was rice with spring onions and the tomatoes I bought with butter.
So nice your tomatoes there Carol.

those're beauts! yup, can't decline coz such might hurt his feelin's, bless him. glad ya put some'n the freezer fer later. i've 'nly gotten 2 maters thus far, but there'd be 'bout 20'n the vines. fingers crossed nothin' happen to 'em. sure wanna make some homemade sauce 't the very least.
we ate watermelon fer supper here. odd choice, eh? sure tasted good 'n helped cool's off. i dunno where the month went, but then i'm still tryin' to recall the past 8yrs, lol.

Here we are in August! I just came from the farmers market and it was nice to see all the local vegetables. Lots of tomatoes but I went for local watermelon. I bought one and just ate it. It was delicious.
