~Betrayal Update~

Good morning everyone!! I hope you're doing amazing! God's blessings are never ceasing, His love and peace are incredible. =) I felt God putting it on my heart to discuss things with my sister-at least to get it off my shoulders maybe? I told her and she didn't apologize or ask to be forgiven but I did so anyway. She said she spoke her "truth". Every time I'm reminded of the pain I thank God for who He says that I am not what anyone else says I am. =) Anyway, better news is my engagement session last night went really good!! If you need prayers please let me know-I'd love to do that for you! Image by For God's Glory Photography

Well, I am sorry for your sister, but so proud of you. I hope your sister comes to her senses soon and sees how wrong and unkind she has been. I’m very happy to hear your engagement session went very well last night. That IS better news. I love the photo! Did you place the ring in the shrubs? Pretty ring, too!

@DianneN Thank you so much! I hope God puts that on her heart but if not that's okay too. Thank you!! I am SO excited that I had the chance to do an engagement session. Yes, there was a pretty baby tree that I saw and HAD to use it for the ring. I'm glad you like the photo-thank you so much!!!

@Juliaacv Thank you very much. I have forgiven her, I don't foresee a relationship coming since we never really had much of one with living far away. Thank you so much!! I hope they love the photo's too. =)

Forgiving isn't easy but it's not for the person we're forgiving but for ourselves. Beautiful ring and what a lucky lady. Great picture too Jennifer

It is good that you forgave her. You did what you are responsible for. If she can't return it, that is her burden.

@akalinus Thank you. =) It is for her to deal with, we all have judgment day to face one day.

LOVE this photo! Life is what it is and we just have to deal and move on. I am sure your children felt weird about her talking like that too. As hard as it is, just let it go and move on.

It's OK and maybe even healthy to speak the truth in love, but how she went about it was not loving. The kids especially didn't need to hear that. She should at least apologize for that!

@snowy22315 Yes, doing things how she did was hurtful and not right. But I am free from it now. =)

Unfortunately, people are going to think what they think, say what they say, and do what they do, no matter how much we try to get them to see the error of their ways or the harm they are causing. You can only hope that someday your sister has a change of heart.

Regardless of whatever she thinks her "truth" is, she had no business talking about such to or within earshot of your children.

@SophiaMorros Thank you, I absolutely agree with you! My children don't need to hear that their parents are trashy, not good enough providers, and don't do what she "thinks" we should do.
