One of my favorite places on Earth

Every year, on my way to the cabin in Central Montana, I pass through the Gallatin River Canyon. It is just North of West Yellowstone, and is one of my favorite places on Earth.
You can't see the huge mountains to the East of the Canyon. All you see are green fields and gentle tree-capped mountains with occasional rock outcroppings. A river runs through it. I see people trout fishing and river rafting, but for the most part, it is quiet.
I often stop, sit by the river, and play my guitar there. I'll attach a picture and say no more.

It looks quiet and peaceful. We passed a beautiful deep blue lake on the way to Yellowstone. It was gorgeous. We don't have lakes that blue in the East.

'tis sure some purty country. i can see why ya stop fer a spell 'n pluck'n yer ol' guitar. great place to renew ones soul.

@TheHorse 's long's ya embrace 't :) we tend to put't out'n the back burner 'ntil life gets really crazy 'n then oft 'tis too late - that renewal then muddied.

One of my favorite places on Earth is Crawford Notch in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The tall mountains there are so beautiful!

It is very pretty, pony... I'm not sure I'd stop just to play a bit on my guitar, though

Love the view. A small house hidden in the trees would be perfect. Gotta hide because of the view.
