Here it is, Saturday already. Time is just flying by. This past week was filled with writing, working on crafting, and just plan reading. It has been a good week.
For dinner tonight the hubby will be eating ham and cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on a hoagie roll. I will be having a gastroparesis friendly chunky ( sort of) soup. It has a large chicken breast (shredded), a small can of mushroom bits and pieces, a couple of hands full of thinly sliced baby carrots, a small container of brown and wild rice, and a 6 cup container of unsalted chicken broth. It is going to be terrific.
For all you people out there in myLotland, I hope you have a wonderful Saturday off.

It is not even noon here and I´m alone. My biggest meal will be lunch as usual and I will make me a homemade cheeseburger and some salad.

@marguicha It sounds like you plan your meals further in advance than I do.

Your meal sounds delicious! I had barbecue ribs, chicken, fries, baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, cornbread and rolls.

@Marty1 haha, yes, that was all in one meal. I can put down some serious amounts of food when I want to!

@Marty1 Between working two jobs, exercising daily, and playing on a pro paintball team, I can expend anywhere from 3000 calories on a slow day to over 5000 calories on a busy day. I have a very active metabolism. I am at my normal expected weight for my height, so eating all those calories has not fattened me up yet! haha
And to answer your questions, I always have a light dinner. It's always better to load up your calories early in the day, so I always eat big breakfasts and lunches, and then go easy on the dinners.

@Marty1 out of curiosity, I have tracked my calorie intake on several occasions. Just to see how many calories I was consuming in a day
I exercise to work out all my muscle groups. Most of my daily physical activity involves Andropov activity, so I balance that out with strength training.
For dinner I will usually eat a small salad, bowl of fruit, or cup of almonds or walnuts..

Now Sunday, we will be having either chicken or beef for dinner. Not sure what I am going to do with it.
Have a nice Sunday Susan.

I'm impressed that you already know what you're having for dinner. I'll be here alone so most probably I'll throw a burger on the grill so there's no muss or fuss or cleanup.

We're going to an event tonight. Its an annual fund drive for a play group- they give out nibbles and probably bakery cake and we sign up for another year. After we eat party food we'll watch an hour of live action. (Like a movie preview for the coming year.)
