I am wondering what my biological clock will say.

In my country we will soon change the time from winter time to summer time. Lately this has met with many people talking against it, but now the scientific community has written against it saying the it produces illness and even deaths in some people as it disrupts the natural sleep. Some countries do not change the hour any longer and I´m looking forward to a stop of this in my country. I have never been able to do it easily. And now, some gadgets change automatically, others depend on what happens in other countries and finally, my bigger clocks (in the kitchen and at the bedside table) do not change at all. Will I wake up at the same time when it changes? At least my biological clock is not so much interested in changes. I´m retired. But working people have problems. What happens in you country? How do you cope with these changes? See you at my notifications. Good morning

We change to "winter time" at the end of October. Everyone hates this and it seems that this is the "LAST" change, from the next year the "summer and winter times" should be abolished. Finally something intelligent!

@Marilynda1225 I hope they will not invent an excuse to postpone the date. This morning when I got up at 6 it was as dark as during night, but there is still light at 8 pm. Who needs light at 8 pm? People go to work here at 6:30 in the morning.

we have to still do it in some states here. Our country is strange as the majority of states still change time but some just have dropped the idea

@marguicha Don't know why but states make their own laws. I think that's why our country is so messed up. too many politicians that we pay so much to for pretty much no real help. It's gotten way out of hand if you ask me. like too many cooks in the kitchen. you heard that old phrase ?

@bunnybon7 I hadn´t heard the saying, but I understand the meaning. And it is a pity.

Like @JohnRoberts mentioned we change our clocks in November. I hate it too and I wish they would do away with it. I think it does interfere with our natural body rhythms.

It seems it had been proven. So many countries are now rejecting the idea.

We change our clocks twice a year and many are against it. I find it a nuisance, too.

Not only is a nuisance, but doctors are saying that it is unhealthy.

@DianneN I have no health problems, but I go nuts when I have to change clocks and watches.

In the USA it will be in November I think. Here, we don't have timezone. It was implemented many years ago but I think it did not work for Filipinos.

It does seem that putting clocks forward and/or back is gaining less favour. It never worried me much.
