One More Day Until FRIDAY

Hello MyLotters. How are you doing today? I'm up and on top of things here and enjoying my coffee.
Today will be a nice day. My hubby will be home tonight after being out of town all week on a business trip. I'm looking forward to him being home again. I have a package for him that came in while he was gone and I plan to have a little fun holding it hostage. It is payback for having to report every day whether or not his package arrived. I had also emailed the company since I did not have a tracking number. The package arrived before they answered my email. So all is good.
I am fixing to go pop some blueberry muffins in the over for our breakfast. My mom is up and we will be having a relaxing early morning before heading to Baton Rouge for her appointments this afternoon.

@CookieMonster46 Yay, that's awesome. I found out my other one hasn't even been shipped. It's okay, as long as it is here for Christmas, we are good.

blueberry muffins sure sound good! i need to make me a batch 'f those 'n keep 'em here'n the freezer. sort'a got out'ta the habit 'f such? not certain why...
gigglin' o'er that package 'f yer hubs. glad 't 'rrived though. dunno what'd be the trouble with some trackin' #'s?? 've had some oddities this past year with such.
hope all went well with yer momma's 'ppointments'n y'all all get home safely.

We had a good appointment with the social worker and made plans for the eviction of the ones in her house. She even said her son was to be evicted too. However, this all has to be repeated at the sheriff's department. So we will see what happens there.

@kareng oh, so glad to hear that went well, hon. i've fingers crossed she's still'n that mindset with the sheriff, too. hopefully she'll press charges'n all 'f the theft/fraud, too.

@kareng Pop Tarts. I had them often when I was a kid but not now. At my house we make our own peanut butter and oatmeal comes in a large bag. No labels. My Mom never acknowledged that she had peanut butter or oatmeal when she was with us cause she didn't recognize things that had no packaging attached.

Wow. I love those muffins. 
I also enjoy the feel of waiting, when my husband is back from his business trip. I keep a list of things to report back to him. One such includes packages or mails.

Her second appointment was canceled due to an emergency with another patient. We had a great visit with the social worker. She is helping me guide mom in making plans to get back in her house and put the idea of evicting the occupants that are currently in the house. She accepted that and even said they ALL need to go. However, I asked driving home if she wanted to go set that in motion tomorrow after her primary doctor's appointment and no answer. I didn't push it. I know she has to mull over things but I don't expect this to go beyond evicting the girlfriend and two girls but that would be a start. It's in the Lord's hands.

We all wait for Friday. It seems so relaxing and I am waiting for this one as mu husband will be coming tomorrow evening after a week of business travel. Since my daughter has a day off and I do not have to wake up early tomorrow, I am awake here till midnight watching a series and mylotting. Seems like weekend has started for me.

Do you bake the muffins yourself or will you buy them at a bakery? If you make them yourself, I would like to see a photo of the muffins because I have always wanted to learn how to bake them.

I cheated with a mix on those. You just add milk to the mix and stir and pop them in the oven. I keep those on hand for hubby's breakfast during the winter months. It's easy and I can manage that at 5 am. easier than trying to put a plated breakfast together. He has a hard time eating that early anyway so he can grab and go and eat on the way to work or later in the office.
