A New Month Has Started

September has arrived. Makes me wonder where the time goes. We have a lot of sunshine again today. Was out filling up the bird bath and changing hummingbird feeders. They are buzzing around as they love the heat.
Soon we will have change in the air. Fall is just around the corner and I am ready. Football season has started. Festivals are going on all around. A nice time of the year.
Lantana in the photo continues blooming for now. The garden also enjoys the sunshine. I snapped it early before the heat arrived.
Plans out there anyone for this fist day of September?

oh, yer lantana 'tis jest gorgeous! so bright'n cheerful :) got most 'f my chores done early this morn. toasty day with humidity, the latter 'f which 'tis not our norm. did get a couple light showers late last eve/early this morn.
the cicada's 're singin'. mr. whiskey still movin' 'bout purty well though gettin' a tad cranky 'bout me cleanin'/doctorin' that gash'n his back... took 'bout 85 pics thus far. 'f course, 'nly 'bout 20 'f those 're e'en semi-decent, lol.

@CarolDM yer welcome :) i'd a couple, the grasshoppers thought 'twas a most tasty treat. i so hope i've not the need to battle 'em 'gain next year! nothin' non-toxic to others seems to've e'en put a dent'n their population.
he's a tad slower movin' this eve. gave him some more arnica tabs to help ease the pain. i've fingers crossed he'll be good's new here purty quick.

This summer passed by fast and fall is definitely in the air. It was 65 degrees today, on our back porch. This is such a beautiful season and your photo is gorgeous!

Very nice photo, and yes...time goes by too fast! Fall is a nice time of year, just not looking forward to winter.
