It's raining!

I can't remember how many months it's been since it last rained here. But it is doing so now--just a light, fairly steady Seattle-style rain. Hopefully it will be enough to reduce the fire danger and make our gardens happy. How is the weather where you are?

We're on record for a wet/rainy year. I like when it's not raining. The sun is shining today. I hope your rain reduces fire risk.

I just heard on the radio that the 1/4" we got out here was the maximum for the Bay Area.

I'm glad to hear that! Were there fewer fires (so far) than usual? I'm rooting for a cold Winter in Idaho and Montana to kill off some of our "pine beetles."
