We meet Theo

While we were visiting my sister, who lives on her son’s property, we enjoyed playing with Theo, her son’s new Maltese/Poodle puppy. Theo also had his first clip while we were there and was very well-behaved. This photo shows him before clipping. I don’t have a good photo of him after he was clipped but you can now see his eyes. His paws have also had the hair cut from around them so he won’t be picking up grass-seeds once the summer comes.
Another new arrival on the property is a chocolate Labrador puppy, Chester, and, as you can imagine, the two have great fun together. It seems they play and sleep, play and sleep with short intervals where they eat, especially in the case of the Labrador. They are great company for each other.

@yanzalong I think pets teach children a lot about life too.

Oh I can imagine how fun it is for the puppies to live in such huge space .. some dogs aren't so lucky .. I saw some dogs in the Philippines that are kept in cages..

@JudyEv Definitely needs more education in the Philippines regarding to pets.. Some dogs there only have 5 years or less to live..Especially in the cities where there's not much room for them ...

@epiffanie People love to have pets but don't realise they have needs too and can be quite a lot of work.

He rarely stops wriggling. I was surprised he was so easy to clip but my nephew held him and he didn't wriggle much at all.
