Lord Help Me! I Have To Take Applications

Today I talked to the "supposed to be new tenant" and they will not be moving here from another state, his wife found out she has cancer. They will have to stay put and find a place around the hospital.
I am hoping to get this place fixed in a couple days now, before I had till the first, now I have to place signs and take applications. I get strange people and I get dope heads, I get teens wanting a party shack..... Prayers please, that I get a nice middle age couple.
Here we go, I haven`t had to do this in almost 3 years because the last couple was a workmate of another tenant. For Rent Sign.

When I was told about someone with a house the woman aggressively pusued me because I am a teacher with a steady job and a good income. She wanted me badly but unfortunately for her it was too soon after we made the decision and I didn't have the security deposit that she wanted in that time so I ghosted her. It all worked out because my place now is so much bigger and brighter and has a better vibe.

@shaggin She is just lazy, she goes and just sits at other people houses everyday. I do feel for those kids too.

OMG! I never chase anyone. I actually hide from a few. I have this one, maybe 30 years old, she is a friend of one of the people I am selling a house to, she wants this house but she is nasty, she has 2 little girls and that is not the problem. The problem is people tell me you can smell her house outside and you wipe your feet outside when you leave, they say she throws trash in the floor and never picks it up.

I will be praying that you find a really nice middle-aged couple. Okay so they work for the circus and have strange friends but they are middle-aged!! lol

Doncha love it??? I remember when I was trying to rent this place I had all these people who would never show up...One guy was supposed to be heading down here to move in and didn't bother to tell me..he had a disaster in his condo..and wouldn't be able to come, that he wasn't going to take the job he had gotten down here.

@andriaperry I had so many of those...the first time I rented the room, the first serious contender was readily available..I had one person who never looked at a map apparently, and wanted to commute from here to Silver Spring Maryland...probably a good 120 miles..alone and that is without traffic! I know people commute to NYC long distances but not from here..I only knew one person who did go to DC, had flex time..and left at like 2 in the morning!

Yes, I got those before. I had one tell me while waiting for her to show, Oh , I am busy right now can I come tomorrow? I said sure and wrote on her over the phone application " not reliable!" and set it in the box of "don`t rent to" applications so not to forget the name.
