I mentioned yesterday that I was welcomed home with a lot of dirty dishes left behind by the hubby. I managed to get the dishwasher ran and most of them cleared out. I still have some pots and pans to hand wash. In looking in the refrigerator and freezer last night I wondered what did he eat while I was gone to dirty all these dishes? I had gotten some easy and fast things for him to eat and all of those things seem to be right there in the freezer and/or refrigerator. Humm. I know he ate some sandwiches. The package of sliced roast beef was almost gone, but that wouldn't account for five days of meals. The pantry was also left undisturbed. I know he also didn't eat out because there were no food charges on the debit card. I"m just in awe here and wondering exactly what did he eat? Photo: Pixabay, public domain

He said sandwiches mostly. LOL. I need to check the peanut butter jar. That still doesn't account for all the dirty dishes. And really a plate for all the sandwiches-- a new plate for every one and/or meal?

That does seem like a lot of dishes if your hubby didn't eat much. Maybe gremlins used all those dishes???

I'm sure he found something to eat that he has forgotten about. He has to eat. He's diabetic.

ugh, i dunno why some folks leave such messes fer others to tend. interestin' 'bout all that food bein' left. perhaps ya need to inquire?

It appears that he ate sandwiches every day. He did eat out one day, stopped at Arbys on way back from Lowes. He's a carb-0-holic.

He's still working in the bathroom. Ran into plumbing not up to code so he is re-doing all of that. Still has to do the vanity but that one may have to wait. He hasn't ripped the floor up over on that side yet. I think once he finishes this part he will be ready to be done. But then again, I know he wants it all done right. So that may mean no new flooring until next week or so.

This is why I try to do something which can make me happy when I am washing the dishes. Such as I like to watch a movie when I am washing the dishes. At least I will feel less bored to this housework.

I always wonder the same thing about my kids' dirty laundry. Where in the world does all those dirty clothes come from? Sometimes I wonder if they change clothes three times a day or something!
