Not the Best Day of My Life

That day is coming. Today, I'm not going to church. I'm not getting my hugs. I'm not going to enjoy praise and worship. And I'm not going to listen to a terrific sermon.
Instead, I'm going to be doing my best to get rid of this overall yucky feeling - dizzy, chest pains not related to my heart. Yes, I know that. The doctors don't know what causes these chest pains so I stopped going to the ER because of them a long time ago. They always go away. I haven't had one in a long time but did last night and this morning, it's minor. But I'm still feeling like I've been whipped within an inch of my life. And now, to add insult to injury, I have a sore throat brewing.
I thought eating would help. It took care of my hunger, but it didn't help anything else.
I sent a message to my pastor's wife to let her know I wouldn't be there as I also help with the offering after the service.
This is not a good day, but I'm going to do my best with it. It's still the day the Lord has made and I'm going to be the best me I can be today.
I need to find some television ministries this morning.
So, despite my over 200 notifications, I'm getting off the computer for now. I will be back if I feel better. Thanks for reading. Image is mine.

so sad ya feel so poorly, hon. lots 'f salt water garglin', chicken broth/soup should help with the throat thingy. i hope ya call yer doc 'n let 'em know 'bout the chest pains so's the cause can be hunted down. please take care~ sendin' healin' hugs.

Sorry that you aren't feeling well, and that you will have to miss church this morning. Since everything that has been happening with Mike's dad, this is the first Sunday in a couple weeks that we both get to go together. Looking forward to it. Praying you feel better soon.

@1hopefulman Pleurisy also has chest pains with it, but they don't last very long, usually. My great-aunt had it.

Valerie, there has to be a reason why you keep feeling that way. I am so sorry to here about it. I think I would think about finding a really good cardiologist and get a second opinion. Please take it easy and if it gets worse try to find out more about why this keeps happening. Keep us posted.

I've been in the hospital for these chest pains. I've been through all the tests including the possibility of a stint. The cardiologist wanted to change hearts with me because it was very strong and no problems with my heart.
When a doctor says they think what it might be, that's not convincing. However, I've done a lot of thinking about family history and one thing I remember was a discussion at my grandparent's table. My aunt had pleurisy. When I looked it up and all the symptoms associated with it, that's exactly what I go through every time I have those chest pains. So, when I say it's not my heart, it's not. I've got a good strong heart.

No. I've had one panic attack in my life, and that's not this. I'm okay now. I have nothing to be anxious about. No, I'm not anxious about my book.
