Laundry and Lunch?

Well, almost. My son said he would take me out to lunch as he headed out the door to help his best friend move. So, I waited a couple of hours past the laundry being finished and finally left and called him when I got home because as you know, I didn't have my phone with me to find out when he would be back. He told me it was taking longer than he expected. Ya think? Moving isn't a hurry-up thing. It takes time. So, he said next week. I was tempted to stop at a fast-food place and actually did after I brought the clothes in the apartment. However, they were too busy to wait on the counter, so I left and came home to my second meal of eggs and potatoes today. It's a good thing I like eggs as much as I do. So, I'm here and I'm going to tackle my notifications, and hopefully get them finished today. I've also been tackling a difficult question all day. I considered quitting writing. Don't worry, with a lot of soul searching, and not knowing what else I would do with my life, I'm not quitting. I'm going to keep writing until I draw my last breath. Writing has been my passion since I was eight years old. I'm not about to quit now. I did a lot of reading while I was at my son's and almost couldn't see to come home. I was seeing double all the way. I don't have reading glasses as I need so reading with my bifocals and my cataracts as bad as they are, everything was doubled on top of each other, not side by side. I took eye drops as soon as I got home and my eyes are much better now. That has been my Saturday so far. How is/was your Saturday? Thanks for reading. Image is one of many benches at the Botanical Gardens.

@just4him Eggs and potatoes sound like a good meal. Something must have happened that you wanted to quit? I am glad you made it home safe and sound. Moving takes a lot out of one. I am glad your son's friend had him to help him with it. Sorry you were not able to go out to lunch together.

We still haven't gone out to lunch together. Though he is cooking tomorrow, so that will more than make up for that lost lunch. Thank you. I'm glad I got home safe too.

Sorry about that, but I had to be honest. I think I've taken too much of a break from it. I did work on my problem child yesterday, so we'll see if I can get that one finished. It's a romance. The first one I tried writing several years ago. It's called Love's Illusion. It's not your standard romance. I couldn't write that bad. I'm also considering working on Uncertain Future that I sent you to read the first two chapters of. I think I've got six or seven chapters on that one. We'll see when I touch that one next. I have a lot to work on. I'm also trying to decide which one I'm going to work on next to publish as I have several finished. There are a lot of beautiful benches at the Gardens.

Quitting?? Never in a million years did I think I'd ever hear you say those words. Hope it's just a momentary thought and maybe a short break but I can't picture you not working on your books.

@Marilynda1225 Your question scares the bejeezus out of me. I don't want any unfinished books. Yes, I'll keep plugging along.

@NJChicaa I want to finish all of them. I have a lot of started novels. I have one, in particular, I really want to work on. I started it several years ago and only have one chapter finished. It takes place during the Crusade time of history.

I like eggs too but only eat outside. you are a good writer so I think you can keep it but maybe some issue so you want to quite. sometimes I don't like to write so I use a site which converts speech to text so it easy for me haha. My Saturday was nice as much rain and cool one but my all work finished and now its Sunday so wish you have a wonderful Sunday too.

I'm glad you're going to continue to write. I think not writing would leave a very big hole in your life.
