A Wet Sunday, A Wet Week, A Quiet Day

It's fall and the temps outside definitely feel like fall. Our high today is 59. I wonder if it will get that high.
It was raining when I went to church this morning. It's dry right now, but that will change as we have rain in the forecast for the majority of the week.
It's a nice quiet day. Even the traffic is light, not much to take my attention away. No ambulance or fire trucks rushing by either.
It's one of those days you want to take a nice long nap, read a book, or watch a movie. In my case, I could add work on a book. I just might do that.
I brought up a book I have only one chapter completed on that I started many years ago but didn't know where to go with it when I finished that chapter. Not that I don't know the story. That one I actually did a summary for before I started writing. Not something I do often as my stories tend to write themselves so the summary becomes moot after the third chapter. Right now, I couldn't tell you where that summary is, but I still remember the idea for the book.
It's called Candle in the Dark. It takes place in 1177 during the time of the Crusades. At least it opens in that year. I read the first chapter this morning before church and want to get to work on it. What I need to do is start the research for the Crusades.
What are you doing on this Sunday? What is your weather like? Thanks for reading. Here's a nice picture unlike the day it is outside.

@crazyhorseladycx We're getting two inches between tonight and tomorrow morning. Flood warnings already posted. I hope you get the rain you need and it isn't a downpour that just washes away but a soaking one.

The weather was sunny and hot. But it did feel good when I first got out of church. I watched two episodes of Pearson. My mother had been bothering me about watching The Good Place. So I watched a few episodes of it on Netflix.

@just4him It's a cute show. Although I didn't get to watch any of it yesterday. I am going to try to watch some of it today. It is addictive.

It was a sunny Sunday yesterday. The MARKED series has been concluded. The Sr Pastor preached about the book of Mark. 16 Sundays for 16 chapters of the book of Mark.

Rain in winter just doesn't sound right. I know that's what you want though.
There were a lot of interesting benches at the Botanical Gardens.
