It's been a good day here. Maintenance spent several hours here changing the ceiling fan in the living/dining room because the one I've had since I moved in always wobbled and loosened the lights so they went off and on with or without the fan on. They changed the ceiling fan once before with the same model. This time they put a whole different model in and it doesn't shake or wobble and is much nicer.
While he was doing that, I was busy with Legacy. I have the picture for the cover, as shown above. That was the easiest picture I've found yet for cover designs. As you can see it has a ranch/western theme to the story. I've also been busy matching that font style as well as working on the story. I'm definitely in the revision process of this book more than the editing, though both are taking place. You can't do one without the other.
It's still reading like a romance, but I like it. It doesn't have the gag me with a spoon thing going for it most romances do.
I'm ready to get off the computer, get something to eat. I made chocolate almond flour pancakes earlier. I'll finish off the batter for supper. It's one I found a while ago, though today, I added the cacao chocolate to it. Whoa! That's good!
So, that's been my day. I'll need to take care of these hundred notifications tomorrow. It's time to do something else for a little while. I'll see you bright and early tomorrow before I leave to do laundry.

love the cover! great yer makin' progress'n those revisions.
if'n ya get the time, would'ja mind sharin' that recipe? i've yet to find one that'd be edible. e'en the pups turned their noses'n the past, lol.

sounds most dangerous, the lights goin' on/off. such ought'a be more energy 'fficient, too :)
yer welcome! sometimes 'tis easy, others a most dauntin' task. i confess back'n the day either illustrators were hired 'r 'twas photos i'd taken myself, lol. i'm sure yer gonna 've no troubles findin' what'cher lookin' fer with love's illusions.

@crazyhorseladycx Most likely not as there are a lot of western-themed pictures. There are still illustrators used for book covers. However, self-publishing is a different story and I don't have the money for illustrators. Pixabay is the easy route.
I hope you get the hubby out of the driveway soon. I'm sorry you're stuck with the aunt.

Yes, it will be very nice next summer when it gets a tad warm and stuffy in here from the heat. I didn't like turning it on because the lights kept going on and off from the shaking.
Thank you. I couldn't believe how easy it was to find the cover for this one. It would also work well for another book I'm working on, Love's Illusions, my problem child. It's also on a ranch. Maybe use horses for that one since she loves horses in that one.
