Cat Toy in Water Bowl

Found this little cat toy in the cat's water bowl. It is a good sign that the Dude is feeling better. Just got it out to dry out. And he found it again and brought it to my feet. He wants to play. Sort of like a dog, too funny.
Brendel used to do these little tricks. But she is a little older than the Dude and sleeps more than she plays lately.
Thought it was funny to see it floating around in the water bowl. I think he may have been trying to camouflage the water from Brendel. She has done this before to the food bowl.
Never a dull moment around here with two cats. This made me laugh first thing this morning.

@JohnRoberts I can only have 2 pets here in the apartment. I was actually breaking the rules by having Striper AND Sandy here because I have Scarlett also. I will get another cat when I get a house. By then, though, Striper may have passed on. He is like 13 now I think.

So glad he is feeling better! =) That is so good. Our cat brings his treats closer to him, wraps his paw around our arm when we have something he wants. My youngest daughter taught him how to do that, it's adorable!

jest warms my heart to read he's doin' these thingies, showin' ya he's mendin' jest fine. the resident cat doesn't play with toys much. she used to love playin' with the pups, but they got to where they'd hide 'em 'nder their beds, to keep'er from such antics.

Yep the dude is feeling better! Nico will bring me toys to throw sometimes..and if he doesn't he throws and catches them himself!

Never know what you will find in a bowl. We have one that if I let her in the house will sit in the bowl if the dogs have emptied it until we notice and fill it back up.
