Kind of silent

Things have not gone the way I planned today, and I have been kind of silent. I never get as much done as I planned, for sure. This weekend has not gone as planned.
Tomorrow I will drive about two hundred miles total, taking my sister to the doctor.
Even though I was off work today, I worked on writing up my daily routine with the morning kiddo. E mailed it to the teacher. She has a work day tomorrow. I do not. It is end of the nine weeks so teachers are doing grade cards.
October is just flying by.
I feel as if I will never catch up.

It was broken up into about four pieces, but it is a lot of time in the car.

Maybe there's no traffic there. Over here that 200 miles of travel will take at least 5 hours.

October is a busy month for me this year. The first week of October I was on my Vegas trip for 3 days. I returned only to have to prepare for a community yard sale on the Saturday, writing group on Sunday, and then a solo car ride to have a 4 day meet-up with the cousins on my mother's side of the family. I didn't think I could handle a 3 hour drive but I managed pretty well. I still have a couple of more occasions before the end of this month.
At my age, every week and month are flying by.

Just imagine. I believe I am older than you. It does sound like you have a lot of commitments, that is how my November often is.

@GardenGerty Yes, you have a few years on me.
It's just why do all commitments have to come at the same time. It's like the television schedule... why are all the good shows on on Wednesday evenings?

I hope you have a safe trip tomorrow and everything will be fine with your sister. I feel the same way. This month somehow the more I try to catch up the more I seem to feel I am behind,

My sister got a very good report and will not need to see this doctor again unless she develops a new kidney stone.

@GardenGerty and I just wrote about the benefits of eating grapefruit and one of them is that it helps to keep kidney stones from forming

It does not help when little glitches come and stay.

Sometimes there seems that there is just not enough hours in the day to do all that needs to get done

Fifty miles or more from my house to hers. 45 to doctor--a specialist--45 back to her house, 50 back to mine. Any running around and detours. She sees most of her doctors on her own if they are local to her and she has me schedule the out of town ones to fit my schedule. Before we improved her health there were weeks where we went to four different towns for four different specialists and procedures.

@GardenGerty wow that just sounds awful I'm glad you got that so now you don't have to take her to four different towns.

I am fine, no one stopped me. I was anxious when I could not renew it.

She got an excellent report, and will not go back to this specialist if she does not have any more kidney trouble. Proud of her.

Certainly October is nearly half over. Time can certainly fly sometimes.
