I'm getting ready to leave as soon as I finish eating. I'll be making Christmas rocks this morning for my great-granddaughters, my granddaughter, and my daughter who leaves for Austin, Texas in a matter of days now. I've also figured out what else I'm getting my daughter and granddaughter for Christmas.
It's also my granddaughter's birthday today, so I want to get her birthday rock painted.
Lot's of fun planned this morning. What are your plans for today? Thanks for reading. I'll be back this afternoon.
Here are my great-granddaughters on their second and third birthdays. Their birthdays are three days apart. They're five and six now.

I know what you mean about fixed incomes @just4him I only travel as far as Las Cruces, New Mexico that's about a 50 mile drive for me. I don't mind that too much it's the over 100 miles one way that I have a problem with anymore. I never used to mind going places alone but recently I became aware that I get strange looks if I'm in a restaurant by myself so I have to wonder if that would happen if I visited a different city all by myself. I wish I knew someone who would enjoy going with me.

aw, how cute're those 2, eh? sounds's though yer gonna be most busy, hon. 'tis a shame ya can't join 'em down'n austin fer the holidays. then 'gain, the odds 'f a white Christmas there 'tis most slim, lol.
the hubs finally pulled'n the drive 'bout 1ish pm. 'twas'n a grand mood, bein' mighty kind. wonder what he's'p to now?
