Before I Forget

I sent my daughter an e-mail around the first of the month and never heard from her. This morning, I sent her a text and she called me right back. She no longer uses that e-mail address because she forgot her password.
I told her I wanted to have a Dinner with Mom night. She agreed. I can't wait to have her here for dinner before she leaves for Texas. It won't be on Friday or on the weekends. Her birthday is in a week, and I'm thinking of having her here for her birthday. It would be awesome!
She was quick to reassure me she wasn't ignoring me. That made me so happy. Now, I need to decide what we'll have for dinner.
It's something I want to do with each of the kids. Not all at once. I don't need a war on my hands.
In other news, I've been forgetting, I checked Amazon this morning, only to find they sent me an e-mail yesterday to let me know my package will arrive on Monday. I expected it yesterday. I'm so excited. It's my books. I'll have a picture of it as soon as UPS delivers it. It shipped out on Thursday.
So, that's all my current news. I'm getting off the computer as I really need the massage pad on my recliner. Time for a movie. Thanks for reading. Do you have anything exciting happening in the near future? The image is mine from the park today.

Glad that you and your daughter are going to be able to get together. I don't see my kids often either. They are so busy with their lives but it is always nice to get together when we can.

One reason for the dinner is to have a better relationship with her. It's something I want to do with all my children, not only her. They are agreeable. I only need to set the dates with them. My younger son might be joining his sister for her birthday. I haven't told her yet I'm planning it that way. Though her birthday is next Monday. My son doesn't have off until Tuesday, so it might only be my daughter. I don't know yet. I'm still working out the details.

so glad ya learnt she aint usin' that email addy any longer, hon. hopefully all'll work out'n she'll be there with ya fer her birthday. don't blame ya'n not wishin' fer conflict. personally, i've really grown quite weary 'f such.
will be lookin' ferward to pics 'n word 'f their arrival :)

I'm thinking that planning a dinner for Shiloh's Birthday, is a great idea! I still need to work on my relationship, with Mari Lyn. Years were wasted, when we should have shared more love.

I wish I had thought about this a lot sooner than panicking about it when she told me she's leaving and then deciding to mend the relationship with dinner. I hope it goes a long way toward improving our relationship.

@just4him Why the past is still around, is my own fault. When we make mistakes, learn a hard lesson, then repent, it's suppose to be gone. She realizes that all parents fall short, now that she's a mother, too. Being perfect was only possible for one, the Lord himself.
