I thought this meme was funny; but it's not how I really feel. Just thought I'd share it with you.
My husband and I have been married for 49 years plus we went together for 4 years; so after 53 years we must be doing something right. Do we irritate each other? Of course. Do we do it on purpose? Not usually!

I don't either of us TRIES to irritate one another on purpose. It just happens sometimes. We have a sign on our bathroom wall that reads, "Marriage is finding that special person you wish to annoy for the rest of your life." I always say, if every day is bliss you are doing it wrong. It is supposed to be challenging. By the way, congrats on 49+ years. That's a REAL challenge. My wife and I have been married 12 years and have been together for 14. We're still very much in love even though of COURSE every day is not something out of some romance novel.

@LindaOHio Her and I get along VERY well. We hardly ever fight, and even if we have a tizzy of sorts, we are over it in minutes, and we ALWAYS kiss each other goodnight and say we love each other. We never let anything carry on for more than a few hours.

I am in relationship for last 25 years and happily married for last 19 years. Yes I get irritated at times and so does he. But it is not on purpose. But definitely he loves to tease me and pull my leg and I do it too.

I am married from 48 years, I have also worked with my husband and this started two years before we got married. NO I do not irritate my husband on purpose, never. I would get mad should he do something like this... of course we would not be together anymore.

I love pushing my significant other's buttons. Drives her crazy. But she knows that I am just being playful; if it ever gets to be too much, she just tells me to stop. Usually I listen! haha

hahaha that's a funny meme...I haven't been in a relationship for that long...compared to yours my relationship is a tiny baby relationship, I have been with my boyfriend for a year
