Just Fooling Around

It was a pretty average day today. Mostly rained so it was an inside day even though there is definitely yard work to get done. Oh well. What can you do? Can't fight Mother Nature. Got our grocery shopping done. Didn't need much. Just a few things, and wanted to get some pork steaks that were on sale, so I bought two packages. We'll probably have a couple of them tonight for dinner. Took the wife to Subway for lunch. I was originally going to take her to the Pizza Hut buffet, but when I suggested it she seemed more set on Subway and some quacamole turkey bacon wrap sandwich they have there. So wifey wins and Subway it was. Then it was off to the local fairgrounds for a Saturday "indoor yard sale" event. Didn't buy much of anything there. But it was fun just to walk around and see the junk. When we got home I just decided it had been a very long time since I sat down and just played around with my guitar, so I did that. And now I am here. Some might say it was a bit of a wasted day. But so far still fun and worthwhile. The wife is happy. I am happy. What else could I want? How was your day?

Sounds like you had a pleasant day...I wouldn't call that wasted! Nothing happening here. 50ish, dreary and raining outside.

@porwest My husband is German too! There's nothing better than the smell of pork and sauerkraut cooking.

@LindaOHio It is definitely some delicious stuff. I will usually toss in some carrots and potatoes with it.

I like Subway! Hope she enjoyed her wrap. It's been sunny and cool here. I'm still praying for rain. Happily, the biggest wildfire is something like 80% contained now.

Of all the sub shops, Subway is still my go-to favorite. Just a simple, good sub sandwich in my opinion. Wifey really enjoyed her wrap and I got brownie points for taking her out to lunch. Always a plus. Yeah, those fires out there are something else. Hope it gets under control.

Usually I am the same way. But I have a lot of hobbies. Music being one of them. I try to make the most of every minute if I can. That aside, here I am (now) wasting time on MyLot. lol
