First Snow

I'm a very happy camper this morning. As you can see by the collage, it snowed last night. It started at about midnight until four AM. The first picture was taken at 3 AM. I wanted to make certain I got a picture before it all melted. No problem. It's still hanging around and looking lovely. I love the way it covers the trees and gives them their first fashion statement of the year. With the leaves still on the trees, it makes it look totally awesome!
I don't know if you guys get emoji's in the corner of your box while you're typing, but I do and it's hilarious. The one in the corner now is disapproving. It should be a happy one as I'm ecstatic over the snow.
I have the crockpot set up for tonight's dinner party. The potatoes don't fit, so I will boil and mash them. My son prefers mashed so it all works out.

What a beautiful collage of snow. We don´t have snow yet but it is cold and sunny day, only 11°C. My friend will come here in a few minutes to eat with me and my hubby the plum cake that I baked yesterday. Yes, I got funny emojis in the corner of the box when I am commenting.

great pics, ms. valerie! so glad ya finally got'cher 1st snow, hon. we're to be gettin' our 2nd tomorrow 'n i fear i lack yer joy. not coz 'f the snow, but the bitter cold that seems to linger 'round these parts.

@just4him no worries, 'tis a rinse 'n repeat today. yer welcome :) i see a rogue flake here from time to time. sure hope ya get'cha some more snow, hon. without the freezin' rains 'n frigid temps 'n winds.

@crazyhorseladycx Winds are calm, or at least they were when I checked the weather earlier. So the wind chills are a minimum.

I am glad you got your snow...enjoy dinner. I don't expect we will be seeing any for quite some time, although a few nights coming up it could be cold enough..but we don't often have snow until about Feb. Sometimes in Dec.

@just4him Ya never know around here...sometimes we see flurries earlier, but it doesn't usually accumulate.

I love the photos. I remember what snow was like, I have emoji's too and they tell me what my text sounds like, I love it while my Grammarly checks my writing, It is telling me my response to you is joyful
