All Dressed Up and No Place to Go

It is always the way! Today I was booked to substitute teach and had to turn down two other teachers. As I was heading to my car I got a call that I was cancelled! Technically, they can't cancel on such short notice. Since I don't enjoy going and covering last minute for 1 period for 8 different teachers, I said I would be happy to be cancelled. I let the other two teachers know, but they had each found someone, of course. Now I am getting things done around the house. I guess FLYlady is right. Dressed to shoes tells my brain it is time to work. Does anyone else follow FLYlady.net?

I am okay with it. FLY lady convinced me to get rid of stuff. She also convinces people not to buy too much stuff. She helped me get some household routines that I never managed to deveolop on my own

24 hours is the rule. But I have to go to work then, and usually it means being asked to sub for a different teacher each period to give them a prep. I don't like doing that so I said "Please cancel me." I thought I might sub for one of the teachers I said no to. That didn't work so I am at home. I like that.

@LovingMyBabies I am happy. Overall, I work enough. I am trying to be semi retired Now, I will have to accept work Thursday and Friday and I hoped to avoid the Hallowe'en madness!

She is for procrastinators like me. I found her years and years ago when I was googling how to get organized. Turns out it's mainly get off my bum and just do something, a place for everything, get rid of stuff, and develop some simple routines. She has helped me a lot.
