My wedding anniversary celebration with hubby

Yesterday was my three-year wedding anniversary with hubby.
We went to a nearby restaurant for some savory crepes.
Then we went to see the new Terminator movie.
And after that we went out for dinner in Manhattan, which also featured a burlesque-type show.
Perhaps not the ideal thing to see (movie choice and show) on a wedding anniversary but both were interesting and we enjoyed ourselves.
It was definitely a great day. I am glad that hubby was off yesterday and that we spend it together and out of the house.
Hopefully, we will have more days like this to come.

Of course! Was happy he was not working yesterday. He is usually off Wednesdays. Had he been working officially yesterday I doubt he'd have taken off work.

It was a wonderful day for sure. Something to reminisce about. Wouldn't have been that way had hubby worked Wednesdays. Doubt he'd have taken off work.

I almost thought we were not gonna see the movie because we could not find parking. We ended up finding parking with a few minutes to spare. Good thing there were previews so we did not miss the beginning of the movie.

@samysotelo18 We got to the area where the movie theater is with lots of time to spare but finding parking was difficult. We drove around probably for about half an hour until we found something.

@dgobucks226 The restaurant thing was his idea. I did not know where we were going. It was a surprise. I enjoyed our time there but would have preferred to see that type of show a different day. The movie I enjoyed too, however, would have preferred a romantic comedy.

@lovebuglena I see what your getting at...So, why did you agree to go? Couldn't you have suggested something more to your idea of a proper celebration. Although you said it was not ideal you did say you found it interesting?
