Soup + Grilled Cheese Again for Dinner

Forgot to take the roast out of the freezer for dinner. Got carried away with phone calls I had to make. So, it looks like soup again for dinner and a grilled cheese. Tomato soup goes well with a grilled cheese. Don't you agree?
I never get tired of soup, especially in this cold weather. I will make the roast one day this week in the slow cooker. We got up to 40 degrees F today and sunshine but it is still cold.
The ice is still in the bird bath. I filled it up earlier but it re-froze.
I will try again tomorrow to get the birds fresh water. Have a good evening everyone!

I used to have that when I had the flu. That reminds me, I seem to have the flu now so maybe tonight that can be my dinner. Chicken noodle soup and grilled cheese.

Both are favorites of mine and I can't even fathom the thought of having one without the other. I might just have that for lunch today

That sounds delicious actually. Since I will be able to go out tomorrow..maybe I will get that to have for dinner tomorrow night.

@CarolDM Yes, and I got some. The cheese I bought is supposed to be melty and it says it is good for grilled cheese right on the package.
