Like a fish out of water

These last few days I have breathed and felt like a fish out of water except it is reversed. I am more like a human in deep water.
Humidity is making me a mean and nasty person I fear.
When I get a few extra dollars I buy Damprid bags to hang in my room but they don't seem to be helping the past month. Especially the last week here. I had a dehumidifier exactly like the little one in the photo for 2 yrs. but it stopped working just before we moved to this dreadful old house here. and I haven't been able to afford another one.
It's the reason I have not been here much. Just been working on trying to breathe lately.
Also I want to warn you all about the go fund me thing. Did you know if you have money from it transferred to your bank, and if someone disputes it even months later from their credit card go fund me will take that from your bank account even if you already spent it?
Just a heads up there. to let you know.
So what has kept you away if you have been lately?
Just checking in here to have a shoulder to cry on and something to say. sorry.

Sorry sweetie. I hope you will stay warm. Wish I could get out in the garage and dig out and find my electric blanket for you. I packed it away a few yrs. back but it was only used twice and was quite nice, I would send it to keep you warm.

I'm from the UK and it is so cold over here at the moment but I expect you would love to swap with me. I must admit that although I would like it to be warmer I do not like intense heat . No happy medium is there

Yes, I had heard that about the GoFundMe site... I understand why they can do that but it really doesn't seem fair or really, legal, although I guess it must be or the site couldn't do that. *shake my head*

The awful thing about that is that some people don't know about the go fund me policy and can get a bad surprise just when they think they are coming out of the red
like myself, I was thinking I was finally at a point where I could handle my bank account and breeze on through till I got paid. It was all straightened and planned out. Then someone (a good friend) that also did not know saw the statement on her credit card, did not recognize the name and disputed it.
I looked and got a shock of my bank account overdrawn 200 bucks. 
Had to find out what was up. Thought perhaps she was upset at me or something.
when I asked her about it she was feeling so bad, she did replace it
I also though got a "I told you so " from daughter who was quite upset with me
it just messed up my whole day.
I thought others should be for warned about that site.

OMG, that reminded me of the time we visited Singapore for a few weeks. The humidity there during that month was so awful, too humid that no clothes could be dry naturally. Do you have an aircon? (I remember the aircon at the time did help somehow with making the humidity become less awful.)

I will have to look that up. Maybe it is a dehumidifier ? I just got a small one sent to me from a friend. Bless her heart
but I have to wait for another till Wednesday because that one had the wrong cord with it. I can hardly wait as I am dying here.

Oh gosh, and it's quite humid there all year round, right? I hope you can get a new dehumidifier soon . . . could a fan help at all? I'm not always around to myLot these days . . . things to do and I have a lot of my mind. Sending hugs out your way . . . hope your breathing gets better!!!

thanks so much friend. It should be better soon. a friend just told me she is sending me one for my room. I am so happy for that. the fan helps some but just spreads it around. Doesn't collect it out of the air

You should contact the association for the breathing disease you have, they have funds to help for thing like this.
I would put the word out you need another place to live and the price you can pay. Many landlords will split the deposit into monthly payment.
Living in the wonderful paradise state of Florida will always have humidity.
