November 23 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today is a very good day.
I'm thankful to wake up with a smile on my face. I had a wonderful night's sleep and even slept in. 
I'm thankful for the time I spent with my son this morning and that he wanted me to spend it with him while I did laundry.
I'm thankful for clean clothes.
I'm thankful for the notice about my royalty payment for this month. I have hit the double digits and this one isn't for Thread of Evidence yet. It's for the Colonial America series, so I am very happy. It's my biggest royalty ever. It can only go up from here. It's low double digits, but it's double digits.
I'm thankful my notifications are finished. It's time to work on Fashion Thread. Maybe I'll have a new title by the time I finish tonight.
I'm thankful for the shirt/hoodie I'm wearing. It's been hanging on the coatrack peg for two years and I can finally wear it. The sleeves are very slim and my arms are finally able to fit into it. In the picture, it's the one on the end, the Christmas one.

I have to start somewhere. A drop of water is only a drop of water, but if you add enough drops it becomes an ocean. I never expected to be an overnight success, those don't exist. However, I do expect to succeed.

Congratulations on your royalty payment. That is great.
I am thankful because I spent a nice evening with my friend. She cooked delicious food for me and we talked a lot. It was a very nice evening and it was great to see her again.

I bought that hoodie two years ago. It was the right size, but they made the sleeves ultra-slim so I couldn't get it on. I tried it about every six months and started seeing progress with the arms. I was so happy when I could finally get it on about a month ago. Yesterday, it fit even better. It's still a bit tight on my right upper arm, but I can move with ease, so that made me happy.
I'm glad your son made it safely to Boston.
Thank you. I hope I've seen the last of the single digits and only a few cents in royalties. My lowest royalty was .07. I think that was last December. My next lowest was .26. That was recent.

Congratulations, for your royalty payment and also, for the time you spent with your son:) Someday soon, I'd love to spend some time with Chad! We use to be best of friends:( And I'm so glad you can wear your Christmas hoodie, God is so good to his children
