Anybody hitting the stores on Black Friday?

We have lots of good deals here in Canada for Black Friday but it is nothing compared to what you have in the states. Our stores will be busy but not crazy but there will still be lots of good deals to be had.
I still have vacation time left this year so I took Friday off so I can get out and do some shopping. I went last year and I got so many good deals. I loved all the excitement of it. It really put me in the Christmas spirit.
I will probably do some online shopping that day too depending on the deals.
Anybody else have plans for Black Friday?

I have plenty of plans, I'll be online typing away or playing games, I'll probably cook a meal for myself and I might do some house or yard work depending on the weather ...... as for shopping, no way. A few years ago I kept track of items I wanted to buy and compared the price it was in September to the price it was on Black Friday. It looked like some stores were raising their prices between Septermber and October so that it would seem that they had good sales on Black Friday. It all seems to be more of a scam than anything else.

My plan for Black Friday is like every year, stay as far away from any stores as I possibly can. I make sure on Wednesday that I have everything I need in the house so that I don't even have to leave the house. I want nothing to do with any store of any kind.

The only place I am going is JC Penney. I have a credit card with a 0 balance, so that can be dangerous.
However, I am only going to buy a gift for a friend of Little Miss. It is her birthday and I promised Little Miss we could shop for a gift to give her.

I limit my black Friday to Amazon. I tried the ohter one year and two people fighting over an item knocked me over. That was the end of that.

I remember Black Friday and it was awesome. Last year we were in Florida this week and wish we could have fit a TV into the trunk. The prices were awesome!!

I thought I would doing all my shopping online, but my fiance is coming down so I will be going with him to get his present so he can take it back up with him to save me on shipping. But some of it will be online too.
