Normally, I would sit here until my notifications were finished and then work on a book.
Today is Saturday and the second Saturday of the month. Which means breakfast somewhere else not at home. No, I'm not going to a restaurant. It's Ladies L.I.F.T. this morning. Ladies In Fellowship Together. We meet once a month, the second Saturday for breakfast and fellowship. Someone will have a short teaching. Usually, the person hosting the breakfast at their home. They changed that up a little this year. I'll be teaching but not hosting this year. Not this month. I'll do the teaching in February. Anyway, the time also changed to 8 a.m. It was 10 a.m. Which means I need to leave soon.
Saturday also means laundry. I'll be taking it with me and leave for my son's directly from the ladies' breakfast. I don't know what time I will get back here today. It will depend on how long I stay at my son's. Last week I was there for 4 hours.
Dawn is lighting the sky. I'm going to work on a few more notifications and then I need to leave. Nevermind. I need to leave now. I hate getting lost. I have a general idea where she lives, and it will take at least 20 minutes to get there.

Have a fun time and a good day, and we will see you on the other side. My plans are pretty typical. Just gotta get the weekly shopping errands done. Groceries and household stuff. Going to try and get a little Christmas shopping out of the way too.

I'm glad you do. It's already been a long winter, and winter hasn't started yet, not until this Saturday night. One thing we can guarantee in these northern locations, winter will be longer than in the south.

'tis lovely that y'all get together fer such, hon. hope the roads were clear'n ya found the place with no troubles. i need to plant me more 'f these. gophers..."g" critters 've not been kind the past couple 'f years.

oh, those gophers... i've mounds all o'er the front 'n back yards 'n now they're venturin' out to the pasture. which all're dangerous, one can twist'n ankle'n their holes (hard to see when the grass's grown) 'r a horse can break a leg. i've shoved peppermint oil soaked cotton balls, pup/cat/human hair down 'em. tried those vibratin' stake thingies - all to no 'vail, they jest keep 'xpandin'. no doubt i've grubs, but thus far the natural schtuff's not deterred those either. the ferals catch 'em one e'ery now'n then.

@crazyhorseladycx That's really bad. You don't need anything broken on you or your horses. I hope you find something that will work to get rid of them. Maybe traps. I know you don't like traps, but you don't like gophers or broken limbs either.

Both. I know I'm an early person, but sometimes it's hard to get moving. Yesterday, it turned out good. I like getting to my son's early on Saturday to get the laundry done and get back here. So, that makes it good. The later time is disruptive to the morning and everything I need to do.

I went to the herbal class and learned all about various spices. I enjoyed really yummy butternut squash soup, apple cranberry crisp dessert and a lot of other things in between.

Not your flowers? They're lovely, just the same.
I don't have any plans for today. It's raining, so I'll probably just do some reading and drink a lot of tea.
