I can't help myself. At least once a week. I must have Japanese food. A few days ago I got a "Bento Box" to go at my local restaurant. Miso soup. Delicious salad. Teriyaki beef. Two different sushis. It was wonderful. The cost was about $20. Do you have certain dishes that you treat your self to when you've had a productive day?

Never been a fan but my sister used to love it. Glad you treated yourself. I love seafood but cannot get fresh around here.

I guess my most favorite is venison stew which I make often. Your meal looks good. Except for the sushi and rice and soup. But the teriyaki definitely looks yummy.

@TheHorse I don't marinade it, just simmer it in water, salt, pepper and a little onion until tender, then add the potatoes, carrots, celery, and onion.

I absolutely love Bento, and my daughter and I will have lunch there once a week, if not more. We always get the poke bowls. Absolutely delicious. I devour mine, and then eat about half of hers because she can never finish her whole thing!

@TheHorse You can build your poke bowl however you like. I don't know exactly all the ingredients in the ones my daughter and I always get, because she places the order every time. She has it memorized. I do know there is tuna in there, and avocado, some rice, and a bunch of other add-ons. It tastes amazing though!

I`ll take what is in the box, you eat the rest. Yes and no. I have began to buy Asian frozen meals, lower calories and cheaper. I have a few pounds I want to drop and I am on a mission to change my whole life around, to calm and wonderful. Are we still engaged? I never got that ring in the mail.
