After going to the grocery store, I stopped by walmart to get one thing I couldn't get at the grocery store, and get some lunch from the deli. I like their cheddar broccoli pasta salad and a spicy chicken sandwich.
The title of this discussion is what the lady said to me. I told her "I know, what about a spicy chicken sandwich?" A lady they were talking to who also works for walmart said, "ya'll about to disappoint her." and she was right. They didn't have a spicy chicken sandwich. I ended up having to get popcorn chicken. All they had was popcorn chicken and corn dogs other than the fried chicken they have in the case.
I'm done with my grocery shopping, it's going to be a chicken soup for dinner tonight. It's been awhile since I made one.

It's disappointing when I go to the store for something that I really want and they don't have it.

@lovebuglena I have had to stand in a grocery store and call a completely different grocery chain to see if they have what I want before. That was annoying since I had already been to two different stores before I resolved to calling.

It's been a weekly thing for me to get a spicy chicken sandwich and a container of the cheddar broccoli salad, I was very disappointed.
We always expect the stores to have exactly what we want.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Yes, we do. Wish we'd be able to know ahead of time if our store will have what we want or need.

@ScribbledAdNauseum We has crazy bread with our pizza and she also bought cheesy bread to take home and we had the garlic butter sauce to dip the crazy bread in. Glad you got your pasta salad and sandwich. What did you have from Burger King for dinner?

I actually had this on Wednesday. Today I had to go again (since Wednesday is Christmas) and was able to get the pasta salad. I had to settle for a regular sandwich. We had burger king for dinner tonight.
We have Little Caesar's here but we have to go further if we want it now, the one we used to go to was in Kmart and it's closed down. I just get the crazy bread.

I had an original chicken sandwich and chicken fries. It's my favorite, I don't like their french fries anymore.

I went today (I usually shop Wednesdays but had to shop Monday since Wednesday is Christmas) and was able to get the pasta salad, but had to get a regular chicken sandwich. Atleast they had it.

Wendy's is good, but it's not something that I eat very often. I would have had wendy's that night but the friend wanted something else, so I decided to just get from wherever she got food, that way she didn't have to settle don Wendy's.

Yes, I didn't necessarily need those items but I wanted them. I did get something to eat for lunch atleast.

Walmart has really good hot food. My daughter usually gets macaroni and cheese and mozzarella sticks. The prices are really good as well.

I've tried some of there hot chicken and potato wedges before. One of these days that is what I am going to get for dinner, but I always go in the morning instead of the evening...

It's always disappointing when you can't get what you want. I hope the popcorn chicken was good at least. I think I am going to make a Freschetta pizza. I am not really in the mood for it but we don't really have the room to store it..so I will make it..

The popcorn chicken is okay, but of course it wasn't what I wanted so it wasn't "the best".

It wasn't just the sandwich, I was more disappointed that they didn't have the cheddar broccoli salad. I was there at about 10 am so i guess it was too early.
I almost bought zoodles today to go with my soup but I decided I would be the only one eating them so didn't get them.
