We all, from time to time, find ourselves a little bit sucked in over at YouTube. We watch certain videos for their informational value, and others of course for their entertainment value.
This guy I subscribe to is a little bit of both. BUT, the honest answer is that I find this guy more entertaining than informational.
I mean, in this video he suggests, "You don't want to buy stocks that are going down." Well, no duh sir. Brilliant. In his videos he goes on and on and on and by the time you get to the end realize he really hasn't said anything at all.
BUT, I still watch. WHO'S the brilliant one?

I tried to watch, honest, I really did try but that dude is sooooo BORING ........ grandpa told my dad that the only thing anyone should invest in is land, it may go up and down in value sometimes but if you hang on to it long enough it will go up.

@rebelann Well, I should point out that a car is NOT an investment, although land CAN be depending on its use. For example, land that is not improved with no plans of being improved is a liability, not an investment. A car depreciates in value so IT is not an investment. As for the stock market there is a TON of tangibility to it. Keep in mind these stocks are companies that have buildings, capital assets, products in the marketplace and so on so forth.
You won't find much more tangible than that.

I am curious of that accent. Also I can recollect my Mother-in-law and my brother-in-law in advising the obvious.

Interesting advice in stating the obvious. He should of added at least not until the stock bottoms and show some resistance at that level. I wonder if he's having the last laugh on you for watching?

I am actually completely unsure, from watching him, what his strategy actually is. But I have personally always used support and resistance as ways to determine entry and exit points, and have found that determining these are very helpful. I also sometimes use moving averages, which he says are a waste of time. But he does talk often about identifying trends as well, which, from my experience, moving averages have helped me to determine. Either way, he is entertaining and I do think he is getting the last laugh. He's probably making more money than me too.

@dgobucks226 So long as they work for me, I am happy using whatever strategy I can.

I watch silly things like babies eating their first spoonful of solid food. It's hilarious. Some people, like the gentleman above, just like to hear themselves talk.

Probably so! I use some of the same strategies as you do
