I know these are the type of post that happen at the end of the month all the time on here and I shouldn't post this but I'm going to anyways
Here at the end of the month I am about 82 cents short of the monthly goal and although it's not very far for some of you, for me earning 41 cents today and tomorrow is pretty unlikely. I'm alright with that.
I bring this up mostly cause it is the end of the year. Wondering how you all have fared this year. I started out, well not so good only earning 57 cents for the month of January but picked up as the year went by. I averaged $3.52 cents a month with May actually being my best month with $7 even on the month.
I actually had 3 months in a row that I made over the $5 mark in one month. I know that for most of us it's not really the money that keeps us coming back but since it is talked about often here I thought I would take a look at how I have done for the year. I have made $42.32 for the year, although that is not going to make me rich it is a decent amount for doing something enjoyable.
Did you do alright this year? Did you make more or less than you thought you might?

Most months I make enough here to pay for my online store dues. More than you made. As I told you before, just visit many peoples posts, you don`t always have to comment, some I just hit like. Some I dont know what to say so I say hi, just stopped by. and that is it.

Visiting other people's posts will only increase their earnings. It will not add one cent to yours. What counts is that other people interact with your posts. Of course, if you are sociable and visit (and respond to, comment on or 'like' - because then they will get a notification) other people's posts it is likely to encourage them to visit your posts, but that is the only way that @andriaperry's suggestion is going to work!

It usually takes me 2-3 months to reach $5 here, which is okay, considering that when I started out my first $5 took 14 months to reach, or somewhere in that time frame. Two months in the summer (this year) I managed to get $5 in one month, for the first time since joining mylot. Hasn't happened again since.

Seems like you did all right for the year. I made much more than that. But it does take a bit of interaction. IF you have the time it is worth it. But since it's never going to be enough money to REALLY write home about, I would not put too much into it overall. It's not going to ever replace good old fashioned workâso just do what you can here and have fun, and if you get a little extra here and there, all the better.
I have about $13.30 in my bank right now as of this writing.

wow great job! I've only hit payout twice this year. so $10 all year. then again I'm not always active so it's understandable.

@isweartokira LOL, yea it take time, I think interacting with others is key, the more you interact with others the more they interact with you. At least that is what I have seen.

@Bensen32 Even when I am here, earning seems very slow, slower that usual. So maybe I'm doing something wrong. Oh well.

As long as you are happy, that is good. Most months I make payout. Coming here is part of what keeps me sane. My lowest month was October, I just checked. It was $5.07.

I have made my goal once again but not as much as I usually do. There is just so much that I have to plan for the coming year and tomorrow is already the last day

I have a goal I shoot for every month. There's only one month, last month when I didn't make that goal, which is far above the monthly $5. I did well this year. I was surprised I hit my arbitrary goal for this month. I didn't expect to as I've spent a lot of time with my writing.

i only had 4 payouts totaling $22, which others can easily earn in a month here. but i've always been a slow earner even in the old mylot. i was never a prolific poster then and now.
but i've always liked that mylot is an easygoing site, that here we are not required to log in every day to keep our account or to keep our earnings. that there is no post min/max, no character min/max.

I have not thought of any target. This is my third month here and I am not near the payout mark.
