Have you ever noticed how plastic bags from shopping seem to start overtaking your home? I, as many people do, stuff plastic bags into one of it's own until it can't hold any more and then start stuffing another. The next thing I know there are several bags of bags sitting there. I am beginning to wonder if they are multiply amongst themselves. At Walmart here they have a place to take all of you plastic bags, weather they are theirs or not. Every time I go there I take along a bundle of bags. I am not quite sure what they do with them but I am sure they put them to good use. What do you do with your plastic bags? Hoping you have a happy and healthy day.

I use plastic bags for garbage and store things. For those with dogs, they can use a ton of them to collect poop. Plastic bags aren't not wasted but reused.

Plastic bags are not used in our store any more. You can still use small one for vegetables but I don't accumulate the larger ones like I used to.

@JudyEv and @LadyDuck They haven't banned them here yet. It's easier to carry your own totes in to carry your groceries.

I have a bag of those plastic bags too. When I get too many I take them to our supermarket where they have a big recycling bin for those plastic bags. I guess they recycle them into something else. I do keep some on hand for trash. They come in handy for our bathroom wastebaskets.

They are banned in Connecticut, but not in Florida. I use them to line my waste paper baskets.

In some places you would have to carry you purchases out in your hands if you didn't use them. However, as long as you don't have many of them they do have their uses.

Yep, I have at least 2 bags full but I use them as trash can liners if they don't have any holes in them.

I have found that using them in wastepaper basket and as pooper scoopers are the best way for me to use them.

@HazySue wish i could take credit fer such, lol. there's youtube vid's showin' how to make 'em, relatively easy to do. i'd think a hat'f such'd be hot? there's be quite a few folks doin' most interestin' thingies with all sorts 'f plastics. which's good, but i'd prefer 'em to jest not be made any longer.

That's a great idea. You are so clever. I once saw a youtube where the woman made a hat by braiding plastic bags together.

I do exactly what your meme says! I have a plastic bag full of plastic bags, in fact it is overflowing. I usually take them to the grocery store when the bag gets full to put them in the recycle bin. But our county has been talking about planning plastic bags, and so I have been hesitant to turn all those bags back in. I do find that I used them quite a bit around the house. And it's funny that you talk about the bags multiplying, because when I grocery shop I take reusable bags with me, so I don't know where all these plastic bags keep coming from!

They are multiplying from bags of the past. Are you sure they don't slip a plastic bag or two into your totes?

I need to remember to take mine with me the next time I go shopping. All the grocery stores have plastic bag recycle bins.

@HazySue I know of three. I need to remember to take the bags with me when I go to the store. Until then, the bags will increase.

I use them for grabage. Many people say it is wrong since they are not black but plastic is plastic. If don't do that, I would throw plastic bag into another plastic bag.

@HazySue But still you have to transfer it into garbage cans. Also you can't recycle all so it goes into mix waste.

I think we're in the same situation but maybe not until the start of this year where a law is in its full implementation banning the single use of plastic bags here in our city. Eco bags are now use and paper bags for small purchases.
