Trying to do 3 jobs at once

What a day at work, it got really crazy really fast. We had our team lead land in the hospital over the weekend and two others that called off for the day. So two of the office had to go cover for those 3 and I was trying to cover for the two who left the office. I have not been that busy in a while. Nothing like trying to cover 3 jobs at once. Of course the usual busy day is Mondays. I did fall behind today but hey, I only have two hands so I can only do two things at once. Hopefully the two guys will be back tomorrow. The guy in the hospital I'm not sure what happened I figured since they didn't tell me it was none of my business. They did say he is alright and should be back to work by the end of the week. So the important thing is he is alright. I even worked a little late today, yay overtime. But now I am so ready for bed and it is only 6 pm here so I can't go to sleep yet. Tonight is just going to be a little relaxing till an early bedtime. Hope you all had a good Monday.

Monday is always a busy day at the post office, where my husband works. He gets a couple extra hours.

@kobesbuddy This is very true, I would say this job is mostly very easy. I have had much harder jobs that is for sure.

Hope everything is good with your team lead. It's always hard to overcompensate for staffing. We have that problem at my job occasionally too.

@Bensen32 No fun to cover 3 jobs at once. I am glad that the good guys came back the next day. You must have gotten very worn out that you need to go to bed at 6 pm.
