Crystal the cat

Yesterday I visited my friend and learned that she had given Crystal her 13 year old cat to her dad as she has recently moved and her new house is close to a main road. Had I known this I would have offered to take her on as she is a gorgeous little black cat who is very well for her age.
Now it turns out that her dad is not coping that well with the cat so I have said that I would be happy to take her on. I have two dogs that are used to being around cats and this cat is also used to dogs so it would not be a problem.
She will ring me today and we will see what happens.

I don't know if it will happen now but my last cat was a black one. If I get another one I will put a picture up of it.

It is but she is well and most of my cats have lived a long life. My last cat lived until she was 19.

@cherigucchi I'm not sure if she will be coming to me now as my friend's dad does want to give her more time to settle. I think I will look for another one though

I don't tink it's going to happen now. My friend's dad was moaning that she wouldn't settle but as soon as he knew I would take her he decided to keep her. There are other cats and I'm a huge animal lover. I love giving those that have had a horrible start in life a second chance.

@moffittjc My last cat lived until she was 19 but she had kidney failure at the end. I prefer older cats, kittens are cute but they can be a bit of a nightmare at first.

@sprite1950 I was the same way when I had cats. All my cats were strays or abused cats that I gave a home to and a second chance.

I didn't get her in the end as my friend's dad decided to leep her but I did get Abby and she is beautiful too.

@Writingghost , I have 2 rescue cats and a dog, only he doesnt know he is a dog, my one cat loves white cheddar popcorn and she wants to eat people food, crazy, I dropped a kernal of macaroni of the floor and she pounced on it and gobbled it up,, she gets plenty of cat food and eats that as well

Black cats are sweet, I had one. If you want Crystal, I hope you get her. Most cats and dogs co exist fairly well. My cat doesn't get along too well with the dog that visits here often. but they might if he lived here.

@sprite1950 I want another cat too..Nico is kind of a handful though...and it would have to be the right fit. I think he might be happier with a cat buddy though.

I didn't get her in the end as my friend's dad decided to keep her but I have got the most beautiful cat. She is a dilute tortie sometimes called a calico. She has the loveliest nature.

It's not definite yet as I'm not sure whether my friend's dad will give her up but I was thinking of getting a cat anyway after I lost mine a year ago.

It looks like it's not going to happen now as my friend's dad has decided to keep her but there are other cats and I will take my time choosing the right one for us.
