February 8 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It's Saturday for the second day in a row. I almost went to church this morning. I had to tell myself it was Saturday and I was teaching at L.I.F.T. this morning. I'll be glad when tomorrow gets here and it is Sunday. I thought I would be back on track today, but so far, I need to tell myself it's Saturday. I was thrown off because I was supposed to do laundry yesterday because I couldn't do it today because of the morning meeting. Being sick yesterday compounded my day problem. However, I made it through today, still aware today is Saturday and not Sunday. Going to church tomorrow should get everything back on track as the only normal day in this whole weekend. So, what am I thankful for today. I'm thankful for this morning's meeting. It was awesome! The only thing I forgot was to bring something for breakfast. But it wasn't needed. I'm thankful that the only thing that shook this morning as I gave the teaching was my hands. There were nine this morning including me. I also gave one of the rocks I finished Thursday to one of the ladies in the group, the love rock. I'm thankful for the fellowship among all the ladies from church. After all this time, I'm finally feeling like I belong. I've been part of the church for three years and going to L.I.F.T. for three years. I took the bull by the horns and jumped right into the fray when I joined this congregation. I'm thankful for my health and that whatever got hold of me yesterday didn't last past twelve hours. When I woke this morning, I was as good as I was when I went to bed last night. I'm thankful for the sleep I got last night. I got seven hours of good sleep. I'm thankful for the scale. I'm down another .4 ounces this morning. I'm thankful for the interaction I had here today. I got the notifications done and was able to get away from the computer for a couple of hours and just relax with good TV. I'm thankful I got my steps in today. I'm thankful for my car. It's in good condition to get me where I need to go. I'm thankful for a roof over my head and food on my table. I'm thankful that my income is enough to meet my needs.
