When I wrote about the table tennis ‘net’ I’d seen in Pokhara, Nepal, Sharon (@simone10) said in her response: Where there is a will there is a way and I was reminded of that last night as we tried to get my computer connected to the power here in Kathmandu, Nepal.
We have the connector piece but it had to hang from a wall fitting. It was very loose and kept tipping enough that the power wasn’t getting through. But we fixed it with a folded business card so now I can myLot as long as I have time for. You can work around a lot of problems with a bit of thought.
We’ll be going up for breakfast soon. It’s served on the rooftop. If it’s a clear day you get a good view of the cities and the mountains beyond but mostly it’s foggy and overcast. I’ll have porridge and I’m tipping Vince will have apple pancake. Sounds good to me. And we’ve both got quite addicted to ginger and lemon tea with honey. It’s supposed to be good for colds too and we really need to get through any health checks in Kuala Lumpur and Perth. Luckily, we’re both much better than we were.

The phone charger doesnt work for me unless it is propped up on something. A pair of nail clippers beneath it seems to make the ideal platform!

Sounds like you are having a good time in that place. I hope you travel safe for now and staying healthy is very much important because of the ongoing pandemic right now. So keep safe, stay healthy and maintain good hygiene habits so that the virus may not have an opportunity to invade you.

You are right Judy, we went through many problems and we need to be creative. My husband often laughs when I see how I fix things, but the important is that it works.
