Do you eat the crust?

I watched a video about people waste quite a lot of bread every year. It is a shame that people waste so much. Some buy more bread to home but at the end they can't finish them on time and the bread is not fresh or goes bad and they have to throw them into the bin. It leads to the waste.
Some people don't like eating crust and it is another kind of waste. I personally don't mind crust and I also think it is a waste to cut the crust and eat the rest. If they really don't like eating the crust, I think they can cut the crust into very little pieces and bake them. Then they will become bread crumbs and they are a good kind of deep fried material.

@amitkokiladitya I agree. It is bad to waste the food as there are still many people who are starving in the world.

that is so funny! if you gave me, for example, a loaf bread or a muffin, sometimes i will eat the top, sides and bottom only and the insides will be left on the plate.

@hereandthere My mother complained with my doctor about this habit and the doctor told her that the crust is healthier than the soft part of the bread, so to let me eat what I liked.

@youless I don't mind eating the crust either. I think it's nice but I know many who will cut it off and throw it in the bin.

I never waste food @youless I always try to cook so that I can share it with my pets if I cannot eat the whole thing and if they do not eat what I give them it goes into a compost pile to become nutrition for the soil and any plants that I can grow.

If it is a soft bread, I eat all of it. But if it a pizza and the dough is not soft, I waste it.

I like the crust. I also did not have a lot of food as a kid so I absolutely hate to waste anything as an adult.
