February 22 - What I'm Thankful for Today

I know I always say it, but today was a very good day. I'm thankful I got my laundry done. I didn't have much left and definitely wouldn't have made it to my son's next day off. It's now folded and put away. My dresser drawers are full once again. I'm thankful for the time I spent with my son today. We watched a movie together, and he played a video game afterward while I finished with the laundry. I also dropped him off to get a couple of things he needed before dropping him back home and coming home. He's also addicted to Pokemon Go, so getting him back home took a little longer since it was 'community day', and he knew where to find those Pokemon's. I'm thankful my son found the sketch for the book cover for Vendetta. It needs a couple of tweaks, but it's perfect and will look awesome when made into a proper book cover. He asked me when I needed it. I told him the end of the year. So, it looks like you'll be waiting for the cover reveal a little longer. I'm thankful that the brunch I had and the snack to follow was all I needed for today. At least so far, I'm not gnawing my backbone and wondering what else I'm going to eat today. I'm thankful that though late, I will be spending time with you, interacting and finding out how your Saturday was until time to go to bed. I'm thankful I have almost all my steps in today and this time I know it tracked. I'll have them by the time I go to bed tonight.
