Who owns your clocks?

Who owns the clocks in your house? It might seem a funny question so I’ll explain a bit more. We have three clocks in the house. One is on my bedside table. The microwave also shows the time. If the power goes off, these need to be reset. The clock is battery operated and sits on the kitchen wall.
If, by chance, either of the two electric clocks is not set to the exact correct time, but are a bit ‘slow’, my husband always says ‘your clock is slow’. It seems the clocks are mine.
Funny that.
Any other wives own the clocks?

i have to admit something really bad. My wife was chronically late for many years. I actually set her old watch forward 10 minutes.

@LindaOHio @DocAndersen We used to run all our watches and clock 5 or 10 minutes fast but we seem to be better at being punctual now.

I’m single, so I guess I own them.
And here’s a song about that:
Starday Custom Press 510. The song "Who Winds Your Clock" was previously recorded by Bucky Bates on 4-Star 1295 in 1949, and rereleased later on 4-Star 1559 ...

There is a normal wall clock in my home. Besides it, there is a DIY digital clock which is made by my son. It is very cool. We also have a sound speaker with a clock and it is in the livingroom. My son also has an alarm clock in his bedroom.

@JudyEv That is good, I do wish we went back to clockwork wind up watches - digital is all wrong to me and just adds batteries to the waste we can't get rid of easily

@arthurchappell I'm inclined to agree. It wasn't that onerous to wind a watch occasionally.

All but a couple of ours reset themselves anymore. So I guess no one owns them.

If the clock was the right time, no doubt he would claim credit for it..

@JudyEv It reminds me of a guy I know who was living with his brother..They would take turns cooking..His brother asked him "How come when I make something you say it's good, but when you impale it, you say it,s really good?" Similar principle I think!

Oh, my! That is funny, Judy!
I have two clocks on the headboard of my bed. Both of them are set by the Master Clock in Fort Collins, Colorado. We also have a wall clock in the living room and one in our bathroom that are also set by the Master Clock in Colorado.
Our watches might be off by a minute or two (I set my watch to the main time clock at Walmart. Pretty sets her watch by the time shown on her phone.) but they are correct for what we need them for.

We do not depend on the wall clock for the exact time. I always refer to my cell phone or the wrist watch.

I feel like I'm the only person in my house that even remembers to set the clocks for people to see the time so yep I definitely own my clocks lol

Haha. It's always 'you need to change the battery in the kitchen clock. It's stopped.' Say what? But it's okay. I just think it's funny. :)

I own it. The one in my dining space facing kitchen is mine while one in living Hall and in bedroom ( the portion of room converted to my husbands in house office) is my husband. And I have heard these words... Oh my clock stopped, What's the time in your clock etc..
