Congress has finally agreed on a $2 trillion stimulus package. All of the details are not yet widely known but it includes business loans, funding to hospitals, extended unemployment benefits, and checks that will be sent directly to residents. Singles earning under $75,000 will receive $1200. It is being reported that the checks will go out by April 6.
Everyone will be happy to receive some extra cash. . . even those who rail against socialism.

I still will hold off believing it till the check clears my bank. I of course wonder how this is going to screw me over in the long run. Nothing in life is free. How much tax am I going to have to pay on this? Watch out for that at the end of the year. I can tell you if I get this money I will be putting at least $200 aside just in case I need to be paying tax on it at the end of the year.
