Sharing Spring Smiles From my Yard

Trying to see the positive these days. And spring is offering many smiles in my yard every day. Thought I would share another bloom I found yesterday. I am thankful I can get out and see nature all around me. The birds are making nests all over. Very exciting. The thrasher still tells me to back off if I get too close to her nest. So I do. The photo is my Japanese honeysuckle, it is starting to bloom. It started out as a small vine on the fence. And now it is a shrub that has to be trimmed each year. Amazing smell. Takes me back to the good ole days of growing up. The bloom will change colors as the says go by. More of the little things in my world to share with you. Paying the smiles forward is a good thing.

The birds that have built nests on lightposts here have been back for a few weeks now. Kinda missed them, over the winter. Lol. Saw little flowers popping out of the ground on my walk earlier. Which I'm not surprised about with all the rain we've gotten in the last week or two
